Hi, my name is Summer Vu and I’m a first generation Vietnamese-American dancer, restager, movement director, and enjoyer of the little things. As an avid mixer and merger, I strive to bring everything I know into everything I do. With curiosity and intention, my passion for understanding the intricacies of the creative process has guided me towards collaborative and innovative spaces onstage, behind the camera, on fashion runways, and within art museums. No matter the medium, I believe all creation can inspire one another if we give it the space to.

For whatever it may be, I use movement to remind us of our interconnectedness. Whether it be the simplicity of a look, the warmth of a hand, or the universality of breath, these are the gestures that bring us together—that remind us we are human.

I am currently based in Los Angeles and New York.
